Specialist Role- KU+ME Assistant

The Education Liaison Team are looking to recruit a KU+ME Assistant to help co-ordinate the administrative tasks prior to the GCSE Revision Project (KU+ME), and deliver event support on the days of the project (subject to availability).
Responsibilities:
· To provide administrative and organisational support
· Attend school visits with Education Liaison Officer to brief all pupils on the project (dependent on your availability)
· Liaise with parents/schools and pupils to capture information
· Organise incentives for the scheme (such as voucher options)
· Organise student packs
· Provide event support on all 4 days (1st-4th June 2010)- if possible with exam commitments
Qualities needed:
· Excellent computer skills in a range of Microsoft programmes (word, excel, publisher)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills (some telephone work will be required)
· Reliability
· Punctuality
· Ability to commit to a standard weekly time slot for an average of 3 hours per week (this may increase closer to the event)
Pay:
Pay will be on an hourly basis of £8.00. We can guarantee you a minimum of 3 hours per week from late Feb until the events take place at the beginning of June. Please note that nearer to the project dates there will be more work available so you need to ensure that you can manage this alongside your academic work during the May exam period.
You will also be paid a set fee of £65 per day for the events themselves which would be a total of £260 for the 4 days.
